Easy Ways to Boost Quality
If you are short on quality, you can use these methods:
- Gemcutter's Prisms (GCP): Use these to manually increase a gem's quality (up to 20%).
- Vendor Recipe: Sell a Level 20 gem and 1 GCP to a vendor to receive a Level 1 gem with 20% quality (Note: this resets the gem's level).
- Corrupted Gems: You can find or create corrupted gems with up to 23% quality.
- Unique Items: Items like Dialla's Malefaction(Gems Socketed in Green Sockets have +30% to Quality) or Ashes of the Stars(+30% to Quality of all Skill Gems) can significantly boost the quality of socketed gems, though the challenge specifically tracks the gem's quality value.
Common Issues & Bugs
Many players have reported issues with this specific challenge not triggering even when far exceeding 300% quality. If it does not pop immediately:
- Fill Every Socket: Ensure no socket is empty. If you have an empty slot, put in a cheap gem with any amount of quality.
- Avoid 0% Quality Gems: Even if your total is 400%, having a single 0% quality gem socketed may prevent the challenge from completing.
- Active Gear Only: Gems in your "X" swap (secondary weapon set) generally do not count toward this total.
