Revelatory Wombgift

Revelatory Wombgift is a type of wombgift item created by combining 300 Breach Splinters. Once obtained, it can be brought to The Genesis Tree and birthed into a Breachstone.

How To Combine Breach Splinters

To combine Breach Splinters in Path of Exile 2, you need to move a full stack of 300 splinters into your character's main inventory. They will not change into anything while sitting inside your stash tabs. If your splinters do not combine right away, you are likely experiencing a very common inventory bug. Follow the steps below to fix it and use your splinters.

Step 1: Unstack and Restack the Splinters

If you have 300 splinters in your main bag and nothing happens, the game needs a quick reminder to refresh the item stack:

1. Open your main character inventory.
2. Hold the Shift key and click on your stack of 300 splinters.
3. Separate one single splinter from the pile so you have a stack of 299 and a stack of 1.
4. Pick up the single splinter and drop it back onto the 299 stack.

This will instantly turn the 300 splinters into a Revelatory Wombgift.

Step 2: Take the Wombgift to the Genesis Tree

Once you have the Revelatory Wombgift, you cannot use it in the Realmgate just yet:

• Take the Wombgift to the Genesis Tree in town.
• Pay the required amount of Hiveblood currency to "birth" the item.
• The tree will transform your Wombgift into a usable Breachstone.

Step 3: Find a Breach Zone on Your Atlas

In Path of Exile 2, you do not open Breachstones from your hideout. Instead, keep the Breachstone in your inventory and explore your endless Atlas map. As you look around the Atlas, you will eventually find a specific Breach area node where you can insert the stone to reveal and enter the special Breach zones.

• Stash Tab Settings: Stash tabs are designed to hold thousands of items, which is why the game turns off the auto-combine feature inside them. Always move your items to your personal bags when you want them to upgrade.
• Hiveblood Farming: You can find the Hiveblood needed for the Genesis Tree by fighting waves of monsters inside Breach Strongholds and Hive events on your maps.

How To get more Breach Splinters

To get more Breach Splinters in Path of Exile 2, you must focus heavily on clicking Clasped Hands and killing rare monsters quickly inside high-tier, wide-open maps. Splinters do not drop often in low-tier zones, so your strategy needs to change once you hit the deep endgame. Use these methods to boost your splinter drops.

1. Click Every "Clasped Hand"

Monsters drop splinters, but Clasped Hands (the purple chests on the ground) are a much more consistent source.

• Run or click over every single hand as fast as you can while the purple circle expands.
• Do not stop to pick up loot until the Breach completely closes. Loot stays on the ground, but hands disappear forever if you miss them.

2. Run Open Maps (Avoid Indoors)

The purple Breach circle expands in a perfect ring. If it hits a wall, monsters cannot spawn, cutting your splinter drops in half.

• Best Maps: Savannah, Bloomingfield, Sand Spit, and Steaming Springs.
• Worst Maps: Crypt, Seepage, Augury, and Valactory.

3. Farm Tier 11+ Waystones

Splinter drop rates are heavily penalized in low-level areas. Move up to Tier 12 and Tier 13 maps as your sweet spot. Here, you will get the maximum number of splinters per run without slowing down your character's kill speed.

4. Spend Your Atlas Passive Points

Defeating the Breach pinnacle boss, Xesht, awards you Breach-specific skill points to buff your map drops. You can get up to 8 points total. Use them on these key nodes:

• Crumbling Walls: Adds extra Breaches to your maps.
• Grasping Hands: Spawns more Clasped Hands and guards them with high-splinter magic monsters.
• Waking Nightmare: Gives a massive 60% chance for hands to drop double splinters.
• Frantic Invasion: Boosts monster splinter drops by 40% (though you take more damage).

5. Roll Your Maps for Monster Quantity

Before running a map, use an Orb of Alchemy to roll high Item Quantity. More quantity on the map directly increases how many splinters drop from rare monsters and bosses. You can also use Tablets that add extra Breach encounters to your zones.
